Tammy Heejae Lee

Tammy Heejae Lee is a Korean American writer from San Francisco, CA. She holds a BA from UC Davis and an MFA in fiction from the University of San Francisco, where she received a post-graduate teaching fellowship. A Tin House Summer Workshop, VONA/Voices and Sewanee alum, her writing has appeared in Sundog, The Offing, and PANK, among others. She was a 2021-2022 Steinbeck Fellow in fiction at San Jose State University, where she worked on her first novel about expat culture in Seoul.
